Elon Musk will surely be visiting soon with the advancements made in manned space flight today, as the Calculus students participated in an egg drop challenge. Given a box of barely adequate materials, the students quickly created and built a vehicle to protect an egg during a drop from the second floor down to the first.
Faye and Morgan's design made a successful drop, but Isaiah and Chance's made an unexpected turn in flight and landed on the wrong side, crushing the egg.
The meeting will be held in The Commons Area at the High School.
Congratulations to the Speech team! Faye Belew placed 5th in Serious Prose and Hannah Strizek placed 1st in Serious Prose at the North Bend Speech meet. Next week, they are at Osceola.
