
Reminder that orientation will be at 6:00pm on Tuesday, July 30th. This is for all 7th graders and any new student entering grades 8-12. 7th graders will checkout their laptops when forms and payment are turned in tonight. 8-12th graders will get them on the first day of school.

Over 40 athletes participated in this week's East Butler youth football camp. The camp focused on fun and fundamentals to help these Tigers prepare for their fall campaigns. A big shoutout goes to our high school players who helped put this on. The future is bright! Go Tigers!!







Mrs. Zajac, Mrs. Maca, and Mrs. Vandenberg have been working with the University of Nebraska Lincoln in a Summer Soybean Institute. Upper elementary students will have a special soybean unit this year to learn more about Nebraska's crop!


The Butler County Fair is in the books, with so much representation from EB FFA and 4-H members! Livestock shows, exhibits, Frontier booth, swine show volunteers, parade, and so much more!











The East Butler Marching Band braved the heat at the Butler County Parade on Sunday, making EB proud!

Blue River Girls Wrestling Camp is July 17. Register by July 1 to receive a t-shirt. Payment is due at registration the day of camp.

As we've moved into mid-summer, weight room attendance has dropped off slightly. July is the period of realization! Weight room is open for boys at 7:00 AM, girls at 8:00 and anyone at 4:00. Parents please encourage your athletes in grade 7-12 to attend the weight room!!!

Summer is just getting started, but preparations for the One Act play are in full swing. Mark your calendars to see one of the public performances of Treasure Island, adapted by Todd Espeland from Robert Louis Stevenson's classic adventure story.

8th Grade MS Life Skills finished the year by presenting about different careers and then playing the Game of Life. Students have to choose if they will go to college and acquire debt, or go directly into the workforce.






Cece shared what she learned about Nebraska this year with the kindergarten class through an ABC book and one on National symbols that she created! Thanks Cece!!
