Cross Country Parents’ Night was held before the football game on Friday. Our five Seniors were also recognized. Anthony Sesemann, Tristan Kocian, Keigan Kocian, Jason Bongers, and Jon Pytlik. Thanks for everything you’ve done!

Congratulations to the football team on their win over Mead tonight and congrats to Grant Kozisek on setting a school record with his 316 rushing yards! His performance broke Justin Mackovicka's record of 306 yards set in 2004. Go Tigers!!

Items were returned to East Butler Public School from the time capsule that was recently opened in Seward. The items, including letters, were written by the 1974-1975 third/fourth grade students in Mrs. Kadavy's classroom in Dwight. They were placed in the time capsule on July 4, 1975 and opened July 4, 2025. If you would like to receive the item, please contact the school at 402-545-2081.

The East Butler Legislative Advocacy Committee went to the state capital today to visit with Senator Storm about issues that are important to East Butler. Thank you to our school board members for continuing to advocate for our students and staff at the state level.


Dual Credit Speech students access database resources available through Central Community College for their upcoming Informative Speech.



The Cross Country team ran well at the Lincoln Lutheran Meet at Pioneers Park. It was also our Pink Out Meet. Allison Weverka placed 19th in the varsity race.

Dwight kindergarten wrapped up September by having Apple day. They graphed their favorite color, predicted it would sink or float, tried caramel apples, and did Apple volcanos! 🍎🍏










3rd graders using various materials and forces to create a chain reaction.





There will be an opportunity for parents to learn about the Elementary Title program during parent teacher conferences on Wednesday at 7:30 in Room 126.

CONGRATULATIONS to
Olivia Eldridge and Izabela Polivka
will be participating in the
Nebraska Children's All-State Choir.
The concert will be on Thursday, Nov. 20 at 4pm
at the Lied Center in Lincoln.

These students aren't bugging around! They have been working hard to identify, label, and pin 273 insects! Thank you to all the students who have collected insects and stocked their freezers full! And thank you to the parents, staff members, grandparents, community members, and the Brainard Pool staff for helping add to the collection!
