These students aren't bugging around! They have been working hard to identify, label, and pin 273 insects! Thank you to all the students who have collected insects and stocked their freezers full! And thank you to the parents, staff members, grandparents, community members, and the Brainard Pool staff for helping add to the collection!

Brainard and Dwight kindergarten spent the first month of school doing ABC bootcamp. They review the letters of the alphabet and learn their sounds. To wrap up the unit they decorated vests with letters on it by adding things that started with that letter. Today they put on a fashion show to show off their knowledge of the alphabet! Nice work kindergarten crew!!

Dwight Prek learned about germs this week. Germs are not for sharing because they make you sick. Best way to get rid of germs is to wash our hands. We pretended cinnamon was icky germs we had to scrub away

The K-3 grades had a wonderful day at The Rose !! They watched a performance of "Dragons Love Tacos" and then had a picnic at the Wahoo City Park.
The weather was great - it was cool and no rain, until we were getting ready to head back to school.
Thank you to the administration for allowing us to have our Cultural Arts field trip.
