The cast and crew are hard at work for this year's production of Tough City, Prone to Rain by Alan Haehnel. Plan to see it at our Home Show at 7:00pm on Saturday, November 22 at East Butler High School, or as part of the Butler County One Acts on Thursday, November 19 at David City High School. Our show goes on at 7:00pm.

Salamanders, baby snapping turtles, and lots of hands-on engaging activities for our families! Stop by Thursday to see all the really cool nature stations!

☎️📞Dwight kindergarteners have been working hard on learning their basic information (phone numbers, address, birthday). These four kids have their parents phone numbers down and got to call their parents to let them know they were having a great day! Great work kindergarten! 📞☎️

Did you know that the East Butler School District has been improving classroom spaces over the last several years? We’re excited to share some recent updates to our learning spaces! During the summer of 2025, the 2nd and 3rd grade classrooms in Brainard and the High School Biology classroom have received fresh enhancements to create even more inviting and functional environments for students and staff.

👩‍🏫 Elementary Classrooms:
New organization, updated storage, and engaging learning setups help create a warm and welcoming space where students can collaborate, learn, and grow together.

🔬 Biology Classroom:
Our updated science classroom now features new cabinetry, and a bright, flexible layout designed to support hands-on exploration and discovery.

Brainard and Dwight Preschool went to the Eller Ranch Pumpkin Patch on Friday, October 24th. What a fun place for our littles to enjoy!

Happy 50th day from the kindergarten! We saw what we could do in 50 seconds, hula hooped, blew bubbles with gum, and had root beer floats!
