Blue River wrestled well for the third day in a row. The team placed 5th of 16 teams at the Centennial Invitational. Individual placer:

Blue River defeated South Sioux City 42-39. It came down to the last match, which was won by Evelyn Matulka with a pin! Congratulations Blue River, going 3-1 at the NSWCA Girls State Duals, placing 9th of 16 teams.

Round 2 NSWCA Girls State Duals -
Blue River advances over Omaha Benson, 49-24. Next dual will be against Ralston at 2:15.
The Panthers are competing at the NSWCA Girls State Duals in Norfolk today. Blue River fell to Omaha Westside in Round 1, 54-30. Blue River faces Omaha Benson at 11:30.

Blue River won the Triangular, winning against Arlington 51-30 and Raymond Central 66-18. They will compete at the NSWCA Girls Class A State Duals on Friday, January 23. Wrestling begins at 9am. Go Panthers!
Our girls wrestling team will be competing in the state duals tomorrow. Here is some information about the event.


The wrestling meet for tomorrow has been moved to a 10:00 A.M. start.

There will not be JV girls basketball tomorrow. The JV boys will start at 5:00 with the varsity girls to follow.

East Butler FCCLA participated in the STAR Competition today at St. Edward High School.

🧈 🍞 Dwight kindergarten finished their unit on learning about the past today and made their own butter! They loved seeing it turn from a liquid to a solid and then trying it out afterward! 🍞 🧈
