Dwight PreK had some special visitors. Farmer David brought a calf and a goat for us to pet!
The 4th graders participated in Butler County AG Literacy day. It was a fun day of learning about agriculture in our state!
It's that time of year again! Parents, please get your elementary Tigers signed up to come to the East Butler elementary basketball camp for the 1st-3rd of June! Instruction will be provided by the EB boys coaching staff, and members of our state basketball team! Forms can be turned into the office or Coach Novak. Walk ins welcomed also! This week Dwight prek was all about bugs.

🌻We got pollen (Cheeto dust) on our fingers and then spread it to our flowers while we drank nectar (juice).
🐛🦋Dwight kindergarten had 15 caterpillars the last few weeks that they got to watch grow and change into butterflies. They released them today with the their 5th grade buddies into the 5/6 butterfly garden. 🐛🦋
Tonight's the night! The East Butler Spring Concert is this evening at 6:30 for all 5-12 instrumental groups and the HS Choir. Make sure you arrive early so you can be serenaded by the guitar class and their pre-show music!
Back-to-back Men’s CRC Conference Track Champions! Grant was the named the Gale Arnett Male Athlete of the CRC Meet. The girls team captured 6th place.

3rd graders learned all about amazing trees and resources needed for survival. Thanks to Adam Sutton, Environmental Educator with the Lower Platte South NRD. Each student even got to take home a sapling to plant! 🌱🌳
📚 ✏️ Proud Authors Alert! The Brainard and Dwight kindergarteners wrote their very own book and had it published. Today they had a red carpet celebration and got to share their work! A copy will be in both classrooms as well! Be sure to check out what makes each of us special! ✏️📚

🦔🦝🦡🐨🐴🐍🦁Dwight kindergarten put on their 4th annual animal wax museum today! They shared facts on 12 different animals that they researched themselves! Nice work kindergarten! 🦔🦝🦡🐨🐴🐍🦁

Because of cold temperatures and gusty winds in the afternoon tomorrow, the junior high track quad on Monday has been canceled.
7th Grade Reading has been learning the 8 to Great Highways to Living Your Best Life Adventure! Highway 6 is Forgiveness of the Past. Students wrote letters of forgiveness and we burned them, signifying letting it go.
Congratulations to all East Butler musicians on a fantastic day at District Music. The choir walked away with some hardware after receiving top marks from all three judges! There's still one more chance to see these amazing musicians in concert on May 4th - you won't want to miss it! #EBMusic
